Wonderfruit, taking place 14–18 December at The Fields at Siam Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand, has begun releasing more names and concepts as part of its 2023 festival program. Celebratory performers like Acid Pauli, Nicola Cruz, DJ Nobu, Viken Arman (Live), Bell Orchestre, Laraaji, Nightmares on Wax, Henrik Schwarz, Brendan Eder Ensemble, Jason Dhakal and many more have been confirmed as part of the music program alongside seven takeovers by regional collectives from all over Asia. They join previously announced names, like composer Terry Riley, explorative chamber pop musician Patrick Watson and German techno titan Helena Hauff.

Wellness pursuits will span body, mind, sound and ceremony, with highlights like a Thai Massage experience by Sebastian Bruno, SOMA breathing and an ice bath by Devrim Zahir, an OM Choir with by Tian Daphne and a cacao ceremony by Cacao Ceremony Bangkok. Several new art installations will make appearances in The Fields including a bronze sculptor called The Grower by Dusadee Huntrakul, a participatory media art project called Pinarak by Waft Lab and an evolution of the Molam Bus Gallery with a shift in focus to spotlight contemporary Molam culture.

Wonderers can also expect their favorite venues to return, like Polygon, Solar Village, Quarry and Creature Stage, as well as an expanded Molam Village. Three new venues will make their debut in The Fields, including one dedicated to ambient music and another within the Ancestral Forest, now one year old. The event this year will see a shift in sound as the event moves towards more introspective sounds and deep listening that connects mind and nature. The music direction is set to complement Wonderfruit’s concepts, which include a wellness theme centered around cracking The Cosmic Egg, an evolution of Ethos Pavilion called The Unconditional Space, ceremony and rituals practicing awareness rooted in authentic wisdom traditions called Dhyana, and many more.

Dining options are also expanding to include more vendors, new eating experiences and an alfresco venue that will feel like a restaurant by a lake.

Wonderfruit has confirmed the dates of its final sale in which festivalgoers can get tickets to Wonderfruit 2023. Running from 18–21 September at 6pm BKK (GMT+7)—just 72 hours—Wonderers will be able to pick up Weekend Passes for USD 215* (THB 7,500). The overall number of Weekend Passes available in this sale is limited, with each transaction capped at four (4) tickets per purchase.

For those who missed the Public Sale earlier in the year and would like to get a 5-Day Full Pass, the organizers have announced that they will offer a limited number of upgrades in this forthcoming sale. During the checkout process, Wonderers will be able to purchase an upgrade as an add-on for an additional USD 70* (THB 2,000). Note that this option will only be available while supplies last. As a reminder, Weekend Passes get entry beginning on Saturday 16 December at 8am, while the Full Pass offers access to all five days of the event.

Ahead of the sale, Wonderfruit has opened a waitlist and encourages those wishing to purchase a Weekend Pass to register for first updates.

Wonderfruit have reiterated that they will not hold any more public sales this year, and the upcoming sale is the last opportunity for festivalgoers to secure a ticket. However, for those waiting to resell or transfer a Wonderfruit 2023 ticket, the organizers have announced that Wonder Market will be available later in the year while they work to finalize the new initiative.
