PRU x Kosapan unveil “Wan Sao Long,” an organic Thai craft spirit born from the land and crafted with community at heart. The collaboration between PRU – Phuket’s only Michelin Star and Green Star restaurant – and Kosapan Distillery celebrates the unique botanical heritage of Thailand through refined distillation using a traditional French copper pot still. Hand-harvested herbs from Phatthalung are transformed into a distinctive expression of Thai terroir, where sustainability, provenance, and craftsmanship come together.

The sensory experience begins with a refreshing and cool aroma, where menthol and floral-herbal notes are balanced by a bright citrus lift. On the palate, the distinctive character of star anise shines through, complemented by the subtle warmth of pink pepper, nutmeg, and citrus, leading to a long, aromatic finish with woody undertones and a luxurious touch of saffron. More than just a spirit, Wan Sao Long tells a story of Thailand—one that is rooted in a profound respect for nature and shared with immense pride.

The spirit’s unique character is derived from its namesake, the rare Wan Sao Long herb, hand-harvested from the verdant hills of Phatthalung. This precious botanical is carefully distilled using time-honored techniques, capturing its pure, earthy essence. The income from raw materials also helps support local villagers, who are an important part of the product creation chain.

Sustainably crafted and presented with pride, Wan Sao Long is a celebration of the land and the skilled hands that nurture its bounty.
