Khao Yai Art Forest Named One of TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places 2026, Introducing a New Culinary Experience with “Bloom by Wuttisak”

Khao Yai Art Forest, a contemporary art landmark set amidst the breathtaking natural landscape of Khao Yai, has once again brought Thailand into the global spotlight after being named one of TIME Magazine’s “World’s Greatest Places 2026” a prestigious list highlighting 100 of the most extraordinary destinations and travel experiences around the world.

This recognition marks a significant milestone, reinforcing Khao Yai’s position as a world-class destination. The site was selected as one of five representatives from Thailand, alongside DaiDib DaiDee Farmstay (Nan), Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, The Blue Jasmine Train, and DIB Bangkok.

What sets Khao Yai Art Forest apart on the global stage is its seamless integration of contemporary art with the surrounding natural landscape, creating a new form of experience-driven tourism. This approach aligns with the evolving preferences of modern travelers, who increasingly seek meaningful, immersive, and story-rich journeys.

One of the exhibition’s most talked-about highlights is The Pulse of Life by the internationally acclaimed artist collective Scenocosme. The installation invites visitors to engage with nature by listening, touching, or even embracing trees creating a poetic dialogue between humans, art, and the natural world.

Scenocosme is renowned for its use of technology to create interactive installations that respond to human presence. By blending digital innovation with living elements, their work forms a unique artistic language that is both delicate and deeply evocative.

A New Culinary Chapter: Bloom by Wuttisak

Further enriching the visitor experience, Khao Yai Art Forest is set to unveil Bloom by Wuttisak, a Mountain-to-Table dining concept that brings together nature, art, and lifestyle in a tangible way.

Inspired by the surrounding forest, the restaurant emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and fire-based cooking techniques, drawing out the authentic flavors of each element. The concept also highlights collaboration with local communities, helping preserve traditional knowledge and ingredients that might otherwise fade over time while promoting biodiversity and sustainability within the food ecosystem.

Every dish at Bloom is crafted by Chef Wut Wuttisak Wutiamorn, a specialist in Progressive Thai Cuisine with over 20 years of experience in five-star hotels. Known as a true culinary artist, he transforms ingredients into edible works of art, delivering dining experiences that feel both familiar and refreshingly new while connecting people to nature and culture on a deeper level.
