Epson is inviting photographers from around the world to submit entries to the 17th Epson International Pano Awards, the world’s largest competition dedicated to panoramic photography. The awards celebrate the art of panoramic photography, and Epson Southeast Asia continues its role as a major sponsor, supporting and promoting panoramic photographers both within the region and globally.
Entries for the 2026 competition are now open. The Early Bird submission period runs until June 22, 2026, while final submissions close on July 13, 2026. The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers worldwide. Submitted works must be panoramic images with a minimum aspect ratio of 2:1, in either horizontal or vertical format.
One of this year’s key highlights is the introduction of a new “Aerial” category in both the Open and Amateur divisions, reflecting the growing popularity and creativity of drone and aerial panoramic photography. In addition, the 17th Epson International Pano Awards will continue to feature the categories Nature and Landscape, Built Environment and Architecture, and VR/360, allowing photographers to showcase both technical expertise and storytelling through diverse photographic styles.
This year’s competition offers total prizes worth more than US$50,000, including US$15,000 in cash awards and prizes valued at over US$11,000 for the overall Open winner, comprising both cash and products.
Since its inception in 2010, the Epson International Pano Awards has grown into a premier platform for panoramic photographers worldwide. In 2025, the competition received more than 3,000 entries from 95 countries. In recent years, participation from Asia—particularly Southeast Asia—has continued to increase, reflecting the region’s growing talent and potential in panoramic photography.

David Evans, Curator of the Epson International Pano Awards, said: “I am delighted to officially announce that both professional and amateur photographers from around the world can once again submit their work to the Epson International Pano Awards this year. We are also excited to introduce the new Aerial category for both the Open and Amateur divisions. In addition, participants who submit five or more entries during the Early Bird period will receive a 20% discount and will also be eligible for the Curator’s Award valued at US$1,000.”
Hattori Tai, Regional Director of Commercial and Industrial Inkjet Products at Epson Southeast Asia, stated:
