ESS Developments worked closely with the architects and the design team on Zensiri due to the proximity of the sea and salt air environment. We have carefully selected materials and designed the villas for high sustainability and health. We aimed to limit the use of unsustainable materials such as steel and wood and instead using aluminums, galvanized products and WPC. We included saltwater swimming pools, ashphalt double layered shingle roofs, aluminium soffit boards and Wood plastic composite wall decoration and skirting boards. These are just a few of the areas that using common materials would have long term effect from the Koh Chang environment, humidity and salt air. Also included are Daikin air conditioning systems which are of the highest spec. Electrical current regulators installed due to the unstable electric flow in Koh Chang which can sometimes cause issues with appliances. Again, just some of things that we incorporated into the designs for satisfaction for the end users.
