Last July, the London-born eatery announced that it won’t bid farewell to the Thai capital just yet due to high demand from the public. Cafe Wolseley decided to maintain operations until December 2023. Fast forward to the second month of 2024 and the craze over the British and European-inspired flavors offered by the Wolseley brand is very much alive. The only possible solution: keep the pop-up at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel going for an indefinite amount of time.

If you haven’t been (or plan to revisit) for the food, there’s no need to fret as you can now relax and find a new date to book a table. This also means you have more time to think about which signature dish to order. Menu highlights include Dressed Dorset Crab or the restaurant’s signature Coq au Vin.

The other à la carte dishes includes the café’s famous Wolseley fishcakes, which are stuffed with salmon and haddock, and seasoned with aromatic herbs and topped with lobster bisque sauce. Confit pork belly with caramelized apple and celeriac pureé is another must-try. For dessert, treat yourself to Manjari Chocolate & Salted Caramel Pot.

Other iconic Wolseley dishes include the Omelette Arnold Bennett, a delectable omelette with parmesan, smoked haddock, and cream; and the Soufflé Suisse, a cheese soufflé with mushroom and a delectable parmesan cream sauce. Its main course dishes come from all over Europe with the likes of the Wiener Holstein from Germany, the Whole Native Lobster from England, and the Hungarian Goulash and Spätzle.

CAFÉ WOLSELEY

Combining British heritage with European grandeur, diners can expect classic Wolseley dishes alongside contemporary additions, with creations from Scotland, England, Germany and Hungary.
